Wedding rings can be as distinctive and unique as you choose. This showcase brings together some of the alternative wedding rings from our engagement and wedding ring collection. From subtle twists on traditional wedding bands, such as combining metal colours or textures, to alternative wedding bands with unconventional, asymmetric shapes and unique designs. Each ring is made in-house from start to finish and we can also adapt our designs or work with you to design an entirely new bespoke wedding ring. 
FORGED WEDDING RINGS
These hand-forged rings, which wrap and twist around the finger, make a sophisticated and unconventional alternative wedding band.These unusual, alternative wedding rings are hand forged from a single piece of solid 18-carat gold or platinum bar. Hand forging has been used for centuries to create fluid, tapering forms in precious metal and is one of our signature techniques.
OPEN WEDDING RINGS
Open rings are an elegant and sophisticated alternative to a plain wedding ring. Our “Open Loop” wedding rings are formed from a continuous loop of precious metal and can be plain or diamond-set to create visual impact. Open rings can be worn alone as an alternative wedding ring, or together with a fitted wedding band.
DIAMOND SET WEDDING RINGS
Another alternative wedding ring idea is wedding band set with diamonds. Our Wrap Over Ring is elegant and classic, an ideal choice as an alternative wedding ring. The ring is a continuous double-loop of 18-carat gold which is pavé-set with over 80 diamonds. Pictured here in yellow gold with white diamonds, this wedding ring can also be created in rose or white gold or platinum and can be quarter, half, or fully set with diamonds.
TEXTURED WEDDING RINGS
Textured wedding rings are a subtle and easy-to-wear alternative wedding band. Hammer textured rings are popular with both men and women. The textures created by hammering can be light and subtle or more pronounced, according to your taste. If you’re unused to wearing jewellery or looking for an organic, subtle effect a textured wedding ring can be a good alternative to consider.
MOBIUS WEDDING RINGS IN ROSE AND YELLOW GOLD
Our Mobius wedding bands are new to our collection and make an unusual alternative to a plain wedding band. Their distinctive shape is inspired by the Mobius loop, a figure of eight form that has come to be associated with the concept of infinity. These sculptural alternative wedding rings for men and women can be made in white, yellow rose gold or platinum and in your choice of width.
FORGED YELLOW GOLD WEDDING RING
Forged by hand, this unusual alternative wedding ring has a triple overlap of 18 carat yellow gold. The tapering gold band wraps around the finger, widening as it does and ending with a wide, angled tip. These hand forged wedding rings can also be made with just a single overlap and can be set with tiny diamonds on the narrow ‘tail’, or simply left plain.
HAND CARVED WEDDING RINGS
If you’re looking for an alternative wedding ring that is completely unique our hand carved rings are an ideal option. Each of these bespoke wedding rings is an individually hand-carved one-of-a-kind. We can create a fitted or standalone ring unique to you. ALTERNATIVE HAND-FORGED WEDDING RING WITH DIAMONDS
This modern and dramatic ring is an ideal alternative wedding band. Forged by hand from 18-carat yellow gold, the ring has a brushed satin finish and is set with sparkling white diamonds in a line across the tips. Pave diamonds elevate the ring, making it ideal to wear as a combined engagement and wedding one, a popular modern alternative.
UNIQUE BESPOKE TWIST WEDDING BAND
This unusual twisted ring is a striking piece and would be ideal as an alternative wedding ring. It was commissioned by a customer as an engagement ring and is a refreshing alternative to the traditional diamond ring. To create the dramatically curved open ring we hand-forged metal bar to taper and shape it.
