The Art of Aeolian: Our Hand-carved Series of Unique Wedding Bands
With the introduction of the fourth ring in our Aeolian series we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the origins of one of our most popular wedding ring collections.
The Aeolian women and men's wedding bands are truly a unique design. These unusual chunky wedding rings are a perfect modern and fluid wedding ring for men who want something unconventional. They are available made-to-order in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold, as well as platinum.
These rings are handcrafted and the originals were sculpted in wax before being cast into precious metal. The soft matt finish accentuates the undulating surface curves around the ring. The subtle ridges are delicately polished to add more detail to the texture of the ring.
The carvings were inspired by Greek mythology, specifically the Aeolus, the Greek god of the winds, the term aeolian refers to forms arising from the wind. The linear but organic ridges and recesses of the band resemble gusts of wind so common in Ireland and the UK.

The original Aeolian ring is the most conservative in the series. Subtle diagonal curves make it a unique take on a court shaped wedding band. Both organic and linear, this textured wedding ring is perfect for those who want a modern with on a classic wedding band.

The Aeolian II wedding band is the second iteration in the series. It expanded on the fluid lines of the original with uniquely curvaceous deeper furrows. Available in plain metal or with diamonds, this is a statement wedding ring sure to turn heads.
